    Arsenal slr-106cr info please

What's an arsenal slr 106cr worth now days? Would a canis mag adapter hurt or help its value?

If they are on the ban list, can they still be PPT to somebody else?

Yes, the SLR series is a no go.

All Arsenal has to do is give it a different etching and call it something else to be CA legal but it doesn't seem like they give a crap.

Pretty sure that if you have one here in CA it's not legally here or RAW since the 106 guns came out way after the 1999 ban. Also they sorta suck, get a siaga 223 and it will run better.

I know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody that PPT one. The stock still folds and the Mag is blocked with a Popsicle stick. Since he legally purchased it and picked it up after the wait, is this something he can take shooting without a problem or should he just safe queen it.

I have read that the Arsenal SGL and SLR series are banned in CA. I have an SGL21 and SAM7. My wife and I might be moving to CA. I guess I have to sell my SGL21 and keep my SAM7.

What I'm trying to figure out is if they are banned then how was it legally transferred. What makes this one legal?

there's no way it can be legal in CA. Not sure if you are getting the whole truth.

You can keep both. Arsenal SGL are good to go. Arsenal SLG and SLR aren't.

Start buying handguns not on the CA handgun roster before coming here. Look in the Handguns forum, plenty of threads on which to buy.

Sgl is ok, slr is not.

You can "legally" transfer it if on the DROS system you enter some other made and model. The DOJ does not know what gun you have with just the serial number. Whoever did the PPT / DROS might have thought it was a SGL and entered SGL in the system. You really won't have a problem with it until you are busted for something and the DA finds out you are in possession of a banned assault weapon which then becomes a tagged on charge.

CGN member Chewbaca actually had a SLR demilled and use the parts kit to build himself a 223 AK.

not sure why you say he won't have a problem until Busted. That's like saying, "It's ok to have no BB, until you get caught"

It's Banned by series on Appendix C. No matter how it was DROS'd, there's no avoiding it's nature as an AW and that it is illegally in CA

if it was a rebuild off SLR parts and built on a new non-banned receiver (like chewbaca did), we have a much different situation

That's exactly what I'm saying with the BB. No cops are gonna come knocking your door because you don't have a BB but get busted without one you are screwed.
