Any plans for 6.5 Grendel/.264 LBC or 6.8 SPC II barrels?

Sad to say, but same response as above, at least under our Faxon brand.

We are manufacturing a few for various OEMs, but we're bound under NDA.

Hi Nathan! Any updates on when 20" fluted heavy barrel 5.56 will be in stock? The store I was going to buy from is out of stock now.

Do you make those in Wylde chamber? Going for a DMR concept and I read that the military's DMR rifles use Wylde chambers.

I thought it was the Compass Lake 5.56 Chamber and Douglass barrels.

Just a few days. We finished them up earlier today and need to do final Q/C checks, package, etc.

We do not use the Wylde chamber under our brand. This was a conscious choice as the Wylde chamber, while compatible with bolt calibers, still features a higher pressure spike compared to 5.56 NATO. With the barrels shooting fantastically, we decided not to use a chamber that could even in a rare scenario, potentially cause a problem.

We may use it in the future in some specialized roles, but Match ammunition has shown itself to love the barrels as is. Internal testing showed the quality of the chamber as far more important than the type of chamber.

We use both rough and finish reamers and further hand-polish all chambers.

You could've just quoted the text, so people don't gotta see the picture twice scrolling down.

It's really cool to see a Faxon rep actually chime in and drop some knowledge on us.

                Thanks!

This is great info! I did not know this. Admittedly, my research hasn't been very thorough for this build.

No worries! I'm still going to buy a barrel.

I have one of your Hybrid barrels with a Wylde chamber and it shoots great!
Think that makes 6 Faxon barrels purchased and all of them are awesome shooters, with great finishes that cost less than two other barrels that share the same safe. Thanks for making outstanding products for a good price![IMG][/IMG]
