I know, gonna hopefully get them up after work. All are in 95%+, except the FAL it's 95% inside but was made to look around 40% for that battlefield pickup scheme.Originally Posted By CTbuilder1 @ arfcom:

Pics and a few more details on the first two will definitely help to determine a reasonable expectation on possible value. You also might try asking about the M1's over in the Curio/Relic section; they will definitely need more detail as well.sigpicComment

Added pics. All are Cal legal BTW. Still need to get pics of the M1'sOriginally Posted By CTbuilder1 @ arfcom:

I think you could ask upwards of $2100 for the M1A. Depending on what receiver the FAL is built on, low would be $1200, upwards of $1500. FAL's don't come up that often in CA.
Honestly, these are some of the best examples available. I would second guess selling them if it's for anything other than financial hardship. I doubt you'll be able to find as nice examples ever again if you decide to repurchase these types, and with pending legislation, you may not really be able to buy a copy ever again. Hang onto them for yourself and your heirs. Just my $.02Last edited by quadmx301; 03-30-2016, 2:14 PM."The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle" - Gen John J. The FAL is a genuine pre 89' Argentine FMAP. I don't need the money, just trying to get debt free, I'm really debating heavily on selling these. The M1's look just as nice...Originally Posted By CTbuilder1 @ arfcom:

I'd toss the FAL question over to the FAL Files. I'd say definitely north of $1K, not sure how far north.
I cant give you more than that without knowing who made the receiver and who assembled the weapon.
ETA...I just saw it's an Argy receiver, so I'll estimate around $1500.
Beyond that, do you know assembled the gun?
You'll see a major difference between ARS or Moses on the FAL files and an unknown builder like me.
As was posted already, I would not think of selling the FAL unless it were absolutely a matter of paying the rent or not. Wife and I went debt-free when we moved to Idaho years ago...it was a biatch but you will recover and be ecstatic when you're done.
If you do need to sell her, I've got cash in hand and a copy of my ffl's license. I've got a bit of feedback here, more on the FAL Files and arfcom...it's all perfect.
A pm or email would be appreciated if that's what you need to do. If you decide you'd like it back later, I'd sell her back to you for whatever I paid.
ThanksLast edited by -hanko; 03-30-2016, 4:44 PM.True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

As to the Garand, carbine, and M1A, I'd reach out to Walt Kulek...Walt imo is THE expert in verifying value and correctness on U.S. WWII semi-auto rifles. I'd judge his books as simply "definitive".
He does answer emails, be patient tough.
You can contact him and check out his bona fides here Walt Kulek books on amazon.
OT, but Walt's books are as informational and addictive as Jerry Xuhnhausen's "Shop Manuals" http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page...y%20KuhnhausenLast edited by -hanko; 03-30-2016, 5:14 PM.True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Although most people would pay more if it looked nice rather than dropped by a running Argentine.
OP, think long and hard before you sell it. Originals are harder to find than FN FALs.Comment
