I.D. that rifle for 200 Alex!

Some weapons were seized recently in a nearby town. I was wondering what the rifle in the 2nd pic, next to the FAL is. In the 1st pic it is the first rifle towards the bottom, right above the date. And ya... thats a Franchi Spas 12 soon to be chopped into pieces

          Yep looks like STG 57

Surprising because there aren't that many people who make receivers for them. Wonder if they are kit builds or imported from some nefarious place.

Never handled one myself but they are pretty interesting guns. Winter trigger for shooting with gloves on, beer keg charging handle. 7.5whatever. Built in bipod.

I believe they came into the states as SIG AMT. The real 510s are select fire, and they haven't been surplussed out yet. You can bet your 401k I'll be lining up for one when the Swiss sell them.

You could always get a kit build done. Gonna cost you, but not 12k.

Dave at DSA had Swiss kits in his Shotgun News ads for freakin' ever...receivers were available through folks on the FAL Files. i've not checked them out in a few years...as usual, should' got one when the gettin' was good.

You can still get kits, I believe from Apex? Unless they sold out again.

The Sig PE-57 is banned by name, but you most likely will be building one from a parts kit without that Sig PE-57 name right? Or have some other receiver name on it.

And yea of course you need a BB. Or go featureless.
