Alternatives to Bullet Button and Prince50?

I am trying to put together an AR45 and some of the lowers out there that take grease gun or glock mags have different magazine methods.

there was a "B-16" bullet button that covered the whole mag release area, i am looking for a similar solution as I cant find B-16 bullet buttons sold anywhere.

    On a lower like this:

Something that would work like this:

    Thanks

Probably need to get something fabricated, or do a featureless.

Why not a regular bullet button?. I just picked up a CMMG upper for my 9mm build and it will take a regular bullet button...

that lower looks milspec with a magwell block a BB should be fine

I am hoping to find a solution that will work with the cncguns ar45 lower (the first picture) as it seems to work with the Olymic arms 45 upper that I have, and I like the look of the dedicated lower over the a standard blocked lower

Drill a hole through the center of the button, insert a block under the current button. Voila! Button can't be pushed, but you can push the catch with bullet. Had to do this to a VLTOR lower that uses a large pad for their mag release. Think outside the box a little bit

                Or

                Featureless.. Best option

i think a lot of users here are confused to the kind of release that is. If i'm correct it appears to be a hinged paddle release and not a AR type push type release. Your best bet is to make a machinist fabricate something for you. Perhaps a cover that bolts into your receiver, some drilling and tapping involved.

I completely understand it.. The easiest, cheapest method is Featureless.. Otherwise, like everyone has stated, it will need some thinking and engineering

That's exactly right, the release on that lower is a paddle, the b-16 buttons fit over them without issue, it was relatively novel, as the cover actually attached to the lower via a threaded hammer pin, but the last time I saw the b-16 sold was in 2013.

drill a4-40 set screw thru mag release button and keep an allen wrench tucked in grip well slow but it works.

I could probably 3d print a cover for you op. The problem would be attaching it to the lower....maybe glue? Then you drill a hole through the top big enough to use a tool.
