Where to find barrel specs on a Daniel Defence Barrel

Bought a prebuilt gun last year and never figured out exactly what twist and profile the barrel is. I also havent been able to pull the handguard off yet.

Im wondering where DD puts information on their barrels regarding twist and maybe even barrel profile.

Any help is appreciated.

I have 3 here. All of them are 1/7 twist chrome-lined. It is marked on the barrel, under the handguard.

I think DD has both a phone number and an email address.

Is your issue the barrel specs or removing the hand guards??

What twist rates does Daniel Defense produce?

While we have offered several variations in the past, the current twist rates are as follows:

5.56NATO- 1:7

6.8SPC II- 1:11

300BLK- 1:8

.7.62x51mm (.308)- 1:11
