    AR 15 options?

    I have 3 registered AWs - 2 CAR 15s and 1 AR 15. Also added a PSA 16 inch build. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1154115

Because I fear I won't be able to buy anymore AR 15s, I bought two more complete PSA lowers, 3 Anderson stripped lowers, 3 PSA A2 buttstock/lower part kits, Stag Arms M6 Varminter and a Remington R25. I bought an ATI 16 inch upper and a PSA 20 inch upper. I did add an ACOG on the BCM 20 inch RAW AR 15. All the non-RAWs have bullet buttons.

What other three uppers would you suggest I get?

Colt, BCM and likely Aero Precision. All those would be gtg.

Have you considered a 7.62x39mm AR?

This. Get exactly what you want. All you need is a work bench with a basic vice, a torque wrench 1/2 inch drive and a vice block. You can have all you need dirt cheap from harbor freight.

            I'd mill 10-15 80% receiver's
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

This is another great option worth considering.

PSA has an upper that gets universal praise and it is regularly on sale.

I have a number of AK 47 variants. So have 7.62x39 covered. I am getting too old to have numerous calibers in the AR 15 variants. I can remember that the camo'd one is 308. Probably go with another varmint type set up and whatever is on sale.

I watch too much Walking Dead.

Check out 6.5 Grendel, a flat shooting, accurate round great for long range (1000 yards). I might retire my 20" 5.56 after that.

Also look at .50 Beowulf. About the only legal 50 cal you can get and use here. Fits the AR lower and will get your shoulder's attention. It will take down a moose too, if you can find one in California.

The 7.62x39 upper will keep your AK's collecting dust in the closet, that is one super cheap, fun platform for the AR. Plus you can actually hit stuff with them too. 400 yard steel is doable.
