    JP GMR-13

Does anyone have experience with the JP GMR-13? I am wondering what the bullet button configuration is like and generally how you like the rifle.

I am considering using this for competition and I am also wondering what the recoil impulse is like (being direct blowback).

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

One question, does it have bolt lock open on an empty magazine? I think that was a major concern for me when I was looking at 9mm carbines.

      Go featureless.

Felt recoil is maybe 2x .223.

Last round lock back with glock mags is a known problem. In a match if you run dry your plan went wrong.

Runs like a sewing machine. Slightly boring but cheap to shoot.

Seriously, double felt recoil compared to .223? 9mm ARs make no sense then.

Maybe more felt recoil but much less blast and pressure. I would think a new shooter would find the 9 more pleasant to shoot.

The bullet button on the GMR is just a plastic cover over the mag release with a hole for the tool to depress the button.

Felt recoil is way less than .223.

            It is maybe 2x a .22

bullet button is just like an AR's.

shot like you'd expect out of a 9mm blowback carbine -- not much and definitely less than an AR.

only shot at < 50 yards, but it was easy to manipulate and hit steel. almost boring. the mag well is tight, so when I had a feed failure, it deformed the front lip of a G17 mag and had to pry the mag out. Tossed the mag away.
