Guess what they said? "It would be advisable to change over to a compliant setup"... Flame suit on...


Also it was stated that it may be isolated to Solano only... and only after two deputies because the others had no clue whatsoever. Call for yourselves if the belief isn't there. They ask for an addy but you dont have to give it. They may call you back because the lady after being transferred said she didn't know and would have a Deputy call back...

Went to the Sheriffs and found out that they are all big tools that don't know much and are kinda pushy. I'm leaving well enough alone and finding another range. Sad that a black rifle friendly range changed their ways because of some LEOs but like suggested in another forum CalGunners should make a day trip and meet out there!!!

Bullet buttons comply exactly with the letter of the law. Let me put it to you this way. When a DA asks the DOJ BoF "is the bullet button legal" the response they get is "read the law."

Do you think they'd say "it's illegal" if they thought they could win it? I do. Their silence is thundering.

I asked a friend who is a Lt for Fresno County about that kind of stuff and he looked at me like I was from another planet. I told him I figured it would be one of his guys who would question me should it ever happen because of where I would likely be shooting, he said he thought I'd be fine.

Obviously not a legal opinion but I'm in the process of building my AR with a bullet button so let's just hope he's right!
