You know, there's a plethora of assorted kit built AKs out there. Most likely built with more care and precision than a Century abortion.

All my AKs are kit builds and run flawless. Several different countries of origin and styles.
Check out some other forums and the sale sections. LGS are hardly a place to shop

Buy a wasr. Buy ammo. Shoot your rifle. Enjoy.

            Listen Linda!!!!!

Buy a Saiga from Turners for $525 and slowly convert it. Most AK are going for $700+/-. That will leave you with $175+/- for the conversion. If spent wisely and with a little tinkering will almost complete the conversion.

The Saiga is from Mother Russia where the AK originated why would you not want to go that route. ...just saying.

            Listen Linda, listen!

I had them remove the grip and throw it in the box. I added a grip wrap before reinstalling. They also sent the 2 - 30 rd mags to my ffl because he has a high cap mag permit and blocked them for me.

They will send without mags if your ffl can't block them.

Not sure if they install the maglock, but I assume so.

WASR, SAIGA Converted, Polish Build from Atlantic Firearms, DDI, Definitive Arms DAKM (tough to find right now though), or buy a parts kit + receiver you've wanted and build one/send it out to a builder.

                        Just stay away from I.O.
