Adding rails to an AR-15

I'm fairly new to this site but i had a quick question regarding my AR and was curious if anyone could help me out. I have a Carbon fiber Sig Sauer 516 and I was wondering if it was possible to add rails to the carbon fiber handguard portion of the rifle. I was hoping to add a bipod or foregrip one of these days but I havent been able to find any info relating to my rifle. Any info would be apreciated!

Looks like the rails are made by Lancer. They offer some modular 2 inch and 4 inch rail sections on their website.
