Questions on a Thordsen Custom Stock

I'd like to get a Thordsen Custom Stock but don't understand the options available. Would someone please explain them to me? Option 1) Keyed Buffer Tube 2)Keyed Buffer Tube with Recoil Kit 3) Extended Buffer Tube 4) Extended Buffer Tube with Recoil Kit... Thanks! Bill

Unless your building a AR pistol you will want the keyed buffer for the FRS-15 stock kit.

The keyed buffer with recoil kit comes with the keyed buffer tube, buffer, and buffer spring. So unless you already have a carbine buffer and buffer spring, it would be easier to buy recoil "kit".

        Hi Bill.
The "enhanced" kit has quick disconnect sling attachment points on the buffer tube cover. I think I have one here I am not using along with a cheek riser.

Drop me a PM and I will look for those items and if I can dig them up your welcome to them. That way you can just buy the standard kit and save yourself a few dollars.

But you didn't bother to contact the company to answer those questions ??

+1 to ask Thordo about what you really need. The site is a little vague about the differences.

I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Tried hammerhead but could never get my thumb comfortably around it. The FRS-15 is downright comfortable. Wouldn't use them in a free state, but WHY in CA would you use a bullet button when you can go featureless? At least for a gun you intend to use... Don't work for them, hell never even gotten a discount (They aren't cheap!) but I bought 1, used it, and bought 5 more. To each their own. I also recommend an ambi safety with one.
