Price of Uppers and future. Build now or wait?

I'm debating on building an Ar or two. Have some empty lowers. I'm wondering if new laws say in the next 5 years will make uppers crazy expensive. Hard to predict but in this hobby I find you feel the need to get something now or it won't be available to you later.

Lots of mid $300 complete uppers. Impossible to build from scratch for that amount. Debating between a 9mm AR in 16 or pistol or a 16" blackout. 9mm AR I think is pricey for mags and lower conversion block. I reload 9mm and blackout so both would be fairly cheap to shoot.

I think ar-15s are at a all time low right now. If I were you, I would start building.

I just purchased (3) M4 uppers for my stripped lowers. Parts WILL get more expensive due to the election. Especially if Mrs Clinton gets her way

And closer to election time, things might heat up somewhat depending on how hard candidates push gun control

This is the perfect storm. Black Friday sales, Gavin Newsom, terrorist attack, and Hilldog leading the presidential polls.

There are some really good deals right now. Prices are even better before the Sandy Hook incident. Everything is priced really well (except 22lr).

I think the demand was so great around 2013-2014 that the manufacturers kept producing. Eventually everyone got their ARs and now there are a surplus on them.

If you have funds to buy now, you should.

Now that the SCOTUS has upheld state AR bans, expect more trouble from the mensas of Excremento.

I have enough myself but also have a couple of extra uppers like a BCM. Deciding to either sell or build 80% lowers for them. I'm done buying registered rifle lowers in this state.

PSA is low on stock, and everything is priced higher than normal. As in the stock market, it's impossible to tell if you're at the bottom, but I would hope prices get better before they get worse. Everything is bumped bc of SB attack.
