I'd rather buy American Made. Cost savings isn't the biggest deal here, don't need to buy many lights and they should last a very long time.

Hobby grade at best. I've seen a few break at the threads.

Also there used to be (or still may be) battery drain issues with the light and CS basically told people to pound sand.
interesting. wonder how common that is, i have had zero issues with the WML on my main AR, was considering the WMLX for my AK

I have a Thorntail SBR mount for my scout but unfortunately I can't mount it on my top rail behind the front sight so I'm looking for a replacement.
I'll be mounting in at the 9 o'clock. I have a VFG and I'll be using my left thumb forward and try it like that.

Ive run the surefire x300,400s and the original 200. Never had a issue with any of them and I treat them rough

Totally agree. Not sure what he meant by "hobby grade" but it's a sleek light that works well and looks good. Not as bright as some of the larger surefire's, but it will do in a CQB situation.

Its kind of a surefire clone and it's pretty good especially for the price.
With how cheap the G2x Tac Surfire's are, it's hard to justify. I have a couple of them now, great knock around lights also.

Yep. And the WMLX pushes 500lum, I'd say that's "enough" for most

Have an inforce at a 45 angle and it is pretty awesome

Oldest to newest top to bottom, two door frame contacts and one Recoil caused failure of the thread housing.

                      since nobody has mentioned it,

Arisaka scout body + Malkoff Head = pretty sweet. i don't have one, but I do believe they are bonafide.
