So I picked up an ACR about 5 days ago and I'm really excited to take it out to the range and shoot the crap out of it. From the reviews I read the original trigger seams fine. I'm in love with my SSA triggers that are in my AR's. So Geissele has the Super ACR trigger on sale for $199. Just wanted to get an opinion from anyone on here that owns one.

To upgrade or not to upgrade ACR Trigger?

I picked up one of of the Super ACR's, couldn't pass it up at that price. had Geisselle not had the sale, I was just going to put in one of my spare SSA or SSA-E triggers, or possibly try out one of my Larue MBT triggers in it and see if it would have fit.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Wait! So you're saying any Ar-15 trigger will fit the ACR? I have an extra SSA can I put that in?Comment

per acrforum.com, most of the Geisselle triggers will work. you may need to bend the hammer spring to match the ACR spring or else just use the existing ACR spring. there may be some fitting needed around the safety (that is why Geisselle sells an ACR-specific trigger) but there are plenty of people on the ACR forum running aftermarket triggers.
but not all triggers will drop-in, such as this one, http://www.acrforum.com/forum/acr-te...od-ed-acr.html . I'll see for my self in a couple weeks when I get my ACR how drop-in the SSA and Larue MBT will be.Jack
