Meh. Would have to lock the stock in the open position and can't cut the barrel down in CA. Would be cool in other states as an SBR(which is what people did with the pistol when it launched).

Totally want - even though I have the pistol version already. Its a really fun gun - more fun with a stock I bet!

Looks cool. I'd be interested in a carbine depending how much needs to change to make it ca legal.

Just wanted to revisit CZ Scorpion EVO Carbine. Thinking about getting one before the end of year. Trying to decide which last couple of rifles to get before we can't get anything without a fixed magazine.

For those that have run the Scorpion EVO, any issues? Feeding? Extracting? Parts breaking, etc.? Just want to make sure it's robust and will last since it will be one the last rifles we can purchase in CA. =(

I just ordered one and cannot wait. MPX carbine is over priced for a pistol caliber carbine. Something I noticed was the no octance faux suppressor, although fake, in a video i saw on youtube was hallowed into the front hand guard. I thought it would not make much of a difference. I am getting the muzzle break version but will get an after market faux can somewhere else that is not just hallowed out.
                      Just an FYI

At 4:50 he removes the faux supressor.

No issues with my Scorpion w/ faux suppressor. I've been shooting the Perfecta rounds from Walmart and it has ran flawlessly.

OGmade is correct, the factory faux suppressor is a hollowed out can.

I just picked up an Evo Scorpion carbine, faux suppressor version, to use for the new PCC division in USPSA.

Gun shoots super flat and soft. 30 round mags are $19! Stock iron sights are of high quality.

Grip angle is not perfect. This will be replaced soon. I did the RH safety delete. I put a cheap RDS on it. The mags, 20's more than the 30s, do not drop free easily. The notch for the catch is on the back of the mags, so removing material from the lateral sides of the mag well should make them all drop free according to CZ USA. There are some small ridges inside the mag well, I'm gonna work on removing these. I'll probably add a more HK style paddle mag release as well.

The trigger. Not sure what to do here. I think it will respond well to springs and some stoning. The hammer hooks are pretty long and you can tell the gun is/was built initially to be a submachine gun.

The folding stock is nice. The foregrip works great for me. The gun is light. If you were just using it as a fun blaster, I'd change nothing. But wanting to compete with it I feel it needs a little tweaking.

I've had a couple 9mm AR carbines and a pistol version as well. They all at one time or another have suffered the ill of all 9mm ARs and had some finicky function issues. Buffer, spring, bolt catch, mag block ect. So far, the CZ has zero function issues. The CZ just needs a little help getting mags in and out and a less "clunky" trigger.
Competition is where you find out you're slow, can't see well, are not accurate, have poor gun handling, can't visualize, have equipment that doesn't work and either accept it OR DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

^^^^ Thanks for the detailed feedback. About how many rounds have you had through the Scorpion?

                            Thanks.
