Del-Ton 16" Dissipator Pre-Ban A2 Barrel Assembly

OK I pulled the trigger (excuse the pun) and bought one, saved 12% with their BF coupon which brought the price down to $396.00.
Heard both pros and cons, will have to see how mine runs.

I have the flat top version. Mines been 100%. I ran about 1200 rounds through mine before its first cleaning with zero failures, and its been very acurate for what it is.
By the way whats with the pre-ban in your title?

Interesting, I ordered mine from midway a while ago, if my memory severs me right, they dident put that in there description. I wonder what that designation means.

Yours is a A3 flat top the A2 pre ban has an integral carry handle

I may be wrong, but the term pre ban I this instance means with a muzzle device. My Buddy's ban era, aka RAW, could not have a threaded barrel.

I had one that had too small of a gas port and wouldnt cycle reliably, had to make it slightly larger. I still have the barrel, ended up changing it out for a 1/7 M-4 profile barrel a while back

I had my flat top out today. I had to open the gas port a little. Since then I've got maybe 350 rounds through it. Love it with a Psa carry handle rear sight. 2" easy at 100 with 55 grn ball.
