PTR91 furniture question

Good afternoon fellow gunners!

I'm thinking about getting a PTR91 for my next rifle, but am not a fan of the OD old school furniture that comes with it. Is there aftermarket or HK furniture available that will work on the PTR91 that is black and will give it he smooth black look?im new to this design, but I would want to make it like an HK SR9T.

Thanks for any input!

Edit: I should elaborate that I don't need the sniper style grip or adjustable stock, but wouldn't mind black rear furniture.

Anything made for the HK G3 and 91 designs will work, there is a buffer inside the stock that can also be changed to a heavier duty unit, but anything intended for the 308 will work.

The forearm is full length so any military full length will work, including the one made for the SR9. The Springfield greek made SR9 has a special and rare handguard.

Magpul makes a PRS for the G3/91 series. There are also sniper stocks from HK that are very expensive but will work as well, the PSG1 and MSG models. There are also folding stocks available from many sources.

What does not work is shorter forearms, HK33/93 furniture, and the PSG1 or MSG forearms (they require an extended receiver either welded on or built using an extended trunnion, and a different front sight block.

You should be able to use any of the HK 91, G3 stocks and handguards.

Here are some HK factory, and aftermarket handguards. Prices are ridiculous for some items, but these are top grade and I wouldn't expect anything made in China from that store.

You can also get an adpator to AR and use any AR stock.

Also depends on what barrel length you get...I have a centme with a 16" barrel and my forearm is only 9" not 11"and it uses a HK 93/33 as I recall...this also applies to the PTR 91 "K" which uses the 16" barrel as well. 11" forearm can use HK 91.

Why not buy a PTR A3R with bullet-button from Atlantic Firearms and do the transfer at a San Diego FFL such as Parallax Tactical?

Look at the PTR 91 FR. It is all black,with the aluminum forend. Got mine from Atlantic Arms.
