Handgaurd question...

Is it possible to use a midlength ventilated aluminum varmint-style floated handgaurd with a mil spec 20" HBAR barrel and 1913 rail gas block? I am new and am not even sure if I posed this question correctly....Thanks, Gary.

I am sure you could, the only problem would be that your gas tube might be exposed a little bit between the gas block and where the 9" tube ends.

Lengths

I'll often put a full length guard on a carbine or midlength barrel- looks cool- you can't see a gas block at all (works great on a scoped rifle- poor results with iron sights- haha) Unless you use the TROY same plain FU sights, and of course the 4 rail you choose must be same plane to the upper- yankee hill is, Daniel Defense is- LaRue let's you decide.
