Backfin Reivew
Alright, I have my Backfin and MIAD grip, and thought I'd share a few pictures and opinion.
The fin itself.

I was less than thrilled with the 3-D printing lines. As someone already mentioned, it makes it look like a prototype. The edges along the fin also appeared rough. I tried sanding them, but this material didn't seem to sand well, so I just gave up. I was impressed at how well the fin slid onto and locked up on the actual grip. Very snug fit, it slid right on except for the last 1/4 inch, then a single thump from a rubber mallet seated it perfectly. The fin is solidly mounted. I also liked how solid the actual fin is. I have a solar tactical wrap, and the kydex material is flexible. Not so with this fin. This material is very solid and feels quite sturdy.
For me, an ambidextrous safety selector was a deal breaker. For a featureless, I want to be able to operate the selector lever with my primary hand. In this case right side of the gun. GOOD NEWS! This grip works perfectly fine with a Strike Industries 60 degree selector.

In fact, safety manipulation was far easier with this ambi safety than I hoped. Operating the right side safety with my right thumb was just as easy and efficient as your traditional left side/right thumb manipulation.

Another concern was weapon functionality using the grip. I actually think this grip makes the weapon more function than either a Solar Tactical or Hammerhead grip. Holding and controlling the weapon is very simple, and not being able to wrap the thumb around the grip is not, in my opinion, a handicap. As you can see in this picture I'm able to comfortably hold the weapon by just the grip.

And lastly; looks. I think this grip makes the weapon look as close to OEM as possible in featureless configuration.

So in summary, I think that Exile knocked it out of the park with this product.
