    Grendel upper

Ok i really wanted the Grendel Side charger Upper receiver but they are out 6 weeks min and i really want to put it all together anyone know of a simular .223/5.56 line up that will work? From my understanding that as long as a .223 receiver have m4 ramps and a extended ejection port like the YHM upper

here is the info off the site
    YHM-100
YHM has long been a manufacturer of quality AR-15 Upper Receivers and is very proud to offer our A3 Upper Receivers under our own label. Made from forged 7075-T6 aluminum to Mil. Specs, features extended M4 feed ramps, forward assist, "T" Markings, and dust cover assembly. Plated per MIL-A-8625.

so as always i always run to my fellow calgunners for advise cause the other forums are always too lazy to lift a finger to help anyone out!
also if anyone has built there Grendel with any other receiver please show me pics of what you have and what upper and barrel you used.

    thanks in Advance

It's just a standard upper with m4 ramps. No enlarged ejection port is nessasary with the Grendel. AA does open the ejection port because they can.

ya know what... i bought an AA Grendel upper receiver and never compared the ejection port to my stag upper. Didn't realize they enlarged it on theirs.

But yeah, a standard upper with M4 ramps will work just fine.

Can't wait to finish my build!!! Just need the 24" Sabre Defence barrel and PRS stock and I'm set! Timney trigger should be here on monday. Once it's done I'll post up pics and specs. Good luck with yours!
