I'm looking for some .308 match grade ammo that is not going to bankrupt me. I've tried a few online sources (widiners/ammoman) Any suggestions?

Start reloading! Match grade ammo is going to cost over $1 per round if you buy it.Looking for RPR or Precision Rifle Accessories? Check out Anarchy Outdoors. http://www.anarchyoutdoors.com?afmc=1w -
Cheap match grade factory ammo........ oxymoron
What's your price range?
How accurate does it need to be?
How far do you intend to shoot accurately?Luck favors the prepared.

Wideners is great, but they sell out of the good stuff quick. You have to check their site frequently. Rather than wait, I handload my own with components bought from Wideners--Remington brass, Sierra Matchking 168gr HPBT, CCI primers, and IMR 3031 powder.Comment

Prvi Partizan 168gr. Match
Not as cheap or as accurate as good handloads, but excellent ammo for the money. My AR-10 would group about 1 to 1.5 moa with these, the same with Federal GMM and Black Hills.

cheap match ammo mmmmmm, the Bell helmet company in the late 70, had an ad that read "IF YOU HAVE A FIVE DOLLAR HEAD, BUY A FIVE DOLLAR HELMET"I have neither the inclination or the time to relieve people of the regional and ethnic handicaps that they inherited from their ancestors.

Hey, how do you like the 147gr, and what brand and model no. do you use? I am considering stepping down from what I use now, especially if accuracy doesn't suffer too much.Comment
