I got yelled at, thrown in the dirt and when the cops came they tazed me and took my rifle.
I was hitting a meth pipe also, might have had something to do with it...

      No on all accounts.

Use a chamber flag to both (they have some there, bring your own if possible) to indicate that you have both an empty chamber than that your bolt is (partly) open (i.e. close the bolt on your chamber flag).

Do they have problem with 30 rounds mag in a featureless ? Pre-2000 of course, but really none of their business

Nope they wont bother you at all. Just follow the very basic rules at their range. I saw a guy shooting a Ak with no bb and using 30 rnd mags. I used my 30 rnd mags in my AR once. Pretty cool range and its only 15 minutes away from me. Oh and at cease fire remove mag unload gun and put a chamber flag in the chamber, they provide those.

Isn't it a public range ? How is it their range ? That makes you roll over for using your legal mag ?

I did read the post above. That they are gtg. But I am just puzzled by the comment

Public or private makes no difference. They have their rules, and we get to play by them or we get to leave

Seca is very chill. Like everywhere else. Follow Range rules and listen to Range master and all will be well.
