So a raddlock wont fit on their magwell? I thought they were a standard ar type release? Im sure copper custom would slap a grip rap on or just remove the grip entirely. As long as your stock is not foldable or collapsible and dont have a flash hider on it your good. Id say 95% of shops that sell ar15s would accept a featureless for transfer?

How could any FFL have a problem with a featureless gun? I'm sure there isn't a FFL in CA that would have a problem with a stock featureless mini 14. Any FFL that thinks there is a difference between a featureless mini 14 and a featureless AR or any other type of rifle is a fool that I would not use for any purpose.

Copper Custom told me they have no issue shipping the rifle to CA they just want to make sure the FFL I am getting it from will sell the rifle to me. The DA saiga 556 has AR like controls but can't be outfitted with standard AR mag releases.

Beats me. They gave a call to a California FFL, can't recall the name, and that FFL told them they personally would not tranfer it thus why I ask the forums.
