Nice score! For those of you who have not seen it already, check out the link in my sig for cutting out foam. The one in OP, obviously doesn't apply, but if you have a solid piece of foam, hot wire makes nice cuts.

Thanks for the info. Im thinking of ditching the pluck and pull for some solid foam. Ive googled a few sites, are there any that you recommend? (cost wise?)

A hard shell case is great if your house comes crumpling down. I have a Pelican hard case, it's too freaking heavy for my liking, that's just me.

I had that same case. You have to use padlocks on it to prevent opening, tho. The locks on the latches just make it slightly harder to open than if they are unlocked.

It's a little flimsy compared to the pelican cases it's trying to emulate, too. I wouldn't use it for checked air travel. I made that mistake.
