No Armalite Thanksgiving sale this year?

Last year I was able to snatch up a 20" and a 16" upper for $350 ea. including CH and BCG. Checked their website today, but nada, niente, zilch, zero.
No specials this year.

last year was great but they are selling boat loads of uppers right now without the sale...

My guess is there won't be any sales for a while, as long as the panic-buying continues.

What's astonishing to watch is the roll-over effect to AK's, SKS's, and so on.

At some point in the next few months the price is going to collapse back to normal -- either as a result of manufacturers ramping up to meet demand, or job losses mounting across the company -- or both.

Well last year there was excess inventory.
Not so much this year.

Probably not. They were pretty much cleaned out by 11/06/2008 without the need of a Thanksgiving promotion this year. I was lucky and was able to pick up an Eagle Arms complete web special upper with 1913 handguards on 11/5/2008 before they sold out. If you want to buy stuff from them now, you'll have to call them and backorder the item and wait for it to arrive at your doorstep.
