Being a Surefire dealer I bought my wife an X300 for her Glock 23. Holy crap I was impressed with that little light. It is LED and it is pretty darn bright.
I would love to put an X300 on my LMT MRP CQB, but I wasn't sure if they made a pressure switch tail cap for it. I contacted Surefire and sure enough they make one called the XT07.
I also just got in the M600C-BK KIT01 so I decided to bring both home tonight and test them out to see which one I liked better.
First, the price wasn't too much different. The X300 is $250 and the XT07 is $165 for a total of $415. The M600C-BK KIT01 is $545 but comes with an IR cap and an incandescent lamp too (plus it has a regular tail cap so you can turn it into a regular flashlight). If you don't need the fancy kit items then you can get the M600C for only $425 which makes them about the same price.
Right away I liked the Scout more because it had a pressure switch that would mount into my Tango Down Vertical Grip. The XT07 has a Picatinny rail switch that also has an on/off, but that won't fit on my TD grip. However, I do have a Glock 34 in the safe that the X300 can fit on and that is kind of a plus of having the X300.
When comparing the two lights side by side outside in the dark, I think the X300 was a little brighter, but not by much. Both lights easily lit up dark areas 100 yards down the street.
After comparing the performance and comparing the price, I decided to just go with the X300, so I left the in-laws and headed to the house to try it on the LMT MRP CQB.
The X300 comes with a universal mount on it, but also has a Picatinny mount that also comes with it and has to be installed. The universal mount worked fine on the Glock 34, but I removed it and put on the Picatinny mount. It no longer fit the Glock 34, but I might be able to file on the Glock ever so slightly to get it to work.
I figured out that the X300 would have to go on one side of the rail and the switch on the other. The 7" cable was just too long to be next to each other on the same side. However, it worked perfect to have them on opposite sides.

I cleared the house a couple of times and man that X300 was bright. Combined with the Trijicon TA11F, it was a nice set up. I stepped out on the front porch and lit up the inside of my car about 20 yards away on the street no problem. I pointed it across the street at the back of a neighbors house at about 50 yards and it turned night into day. I saw a car coming up the block so I ducked behind the pillar on my front porch and watched a Taft PD car creep by, but luckily he didn't see me peeking out at him with my LMT. I called the PD to see if it was my cousin working because I was bragging about the X300 to him and would have requested a meet, but he wasn't on tonight.
I looked across the street a few more times and it was simply amazing what that little light can do.
If you are looking for a universal type weapon light, I highly recommend the combination of the X300 and the XT07. The only down side is I can't mount the XT07's switch onto my Tango Down Vertical Grip. However, using my left thumb off of the grip, I can still access the controls fairly easy. And as I was writing this up I noticed Surefire makes a generic swtich assembly that will fit into my XT07! Plug-In Tape Switch for WeaponLight comes in many different sizes and is only $69. Sweet.
