    handguard weights

anyone know how much the noveske/special weapons systems handguards weigh? it seems like they have the most cuts. they even have slots in the rail sections, but it seems common knowledge that DD lite pwns all.

Man I know lots of people dig those and they are purty, but every time I see them all I can think of is 'snag-tastic'.

/too much time getting snagged on camo nets in the Marines. Can't imagine actually using a rifle with all that clamped-on bs. Not anywhere but a sterile range, anyway.

are you talking in general about the railed handguards or the DD Lite?

SWS (Superior Weapons System) is the Noveske handguard. It's heavier than the DD

You also showed a pic of the M4 rail, not the lite rail.

in case you didn't notice it, Rob_s has weight stats for the SWS in the spreadsheet.

oh, damn i didn't notice because i was focused on the troy Xs and for some reason i kept thinking that the sws rails were troy. does anyone have the troy rail data?

i still can't really figure out how the DD lite is lighter

99.9% of Calgunners only shoot on a sterile range.
