How can I install a Ranger Plate on PMAG 10/30 ?

Is there a way to install a ranger plate on the PMAG 10/30 w/ a glued on base plate? I know that the base plate has to be permanent, but has anyone been able to change their base plate to a ranger plate and glued it back again or even open their PMAG 10/30 to repair them.

I'm new at using the PMAG 10/30, so is the PMAG repairable or is it dispossable because you can't even open it for repairs. Or is it really that good of a product that I don't have to worry about it breaking ?

Unless you're running your 10 round mags in a chest rig or something, there's no real need for a ranger floor plate.

My 10/30 pmags do not have ranger floor plates but my regular ones do because they can be a b*tch to get out of my eagle chest rig without them.

You'll have to sell it and buy another with the ranger plate on. You might end up damaging it trying to remove it.

I had a couple of extra 10/20 bushmasters i picked up when they were $20 and put ranger plates on them...heres a pic. I drilled out 2 small holes in the rubber of the plates and screwed them onto the mags (i know, i know it was before they were going for major money) with small black machine screws. they came out great, haven't budged the whole time......

If you can still find any in stock, just buy some normal PMAG rebuild kits and the proper range floor plates.

Build them into 10/20's or 10/30's with the proper floor plates and then permanently fix them however you want.
