Show me your Valmet's and Galil's

Was wondering if anyone has their Pre-bans out of storage. I've kicked myself in the Arse many a time over for not buying that Galil, in National City's Weisser's Sporting Goods. Yea, it went for a whopping $600.00 !! Now , iv'e seen them go for 1800-2600. My how times have changed. that was in 1981!

Back in the mid to late 80's I wanted an ARM Galil also. By that time they were going for about $700-800 (when you can get an HK91 for much less). So I went with the HK and found a better job. Fast forward about 10 years later, I located a "non-galil", early IMI import on Sturmgewehr.com so I had to have it...(I wanted all the rifles featured on the cover of the first issue of Combat Arms).

I have a couple Galil AR's that I am waiting for the receivers to get started assembling them, so no pics at this time.

I do have a Valmet though.....

I bet Galil's are good to shoot matches with since you know, they weigh like 10 lbs... empty.... in 5.56. They sure look cool though.

I have posted this gun on here before. This is my Century Golani. I would love a real Galil but just can't justify the price(IMI 361).
