As long as the trigger spring has a floor ledge to sit on it should be okay.
Drilling the initial 3/8 holes is the hardest part, I find that I need to check the depth gauge 3 times per hole, it takes longer but is safer. I also put a strip of masking tape to mark the "do not cross" line. But always check the depth gauge during the drilling of each hole.
Fire selector hole is also a challenge, make sure you use cutting fluid or at least lots of WD-40, I found that it can get stuck and mar the edges. I fixed mine with JB Weld and a dremil, didn't affect function but it made me feel bad.
