why are carry handles so expensive?

why exactly are removable carry handles so much $$$$$ anything that is not airsoft junk runs for at least 75 bucks. at first glance it seems like the flat top upper is a better deal but when you add in the cost for a carry handle (or any site that's not plastic) the A2 upper actually costs less. an AK kit can be bought for $350-400 that comes with everything you need except the receiver, why are AR parts so expensive?

I don't really know much about it but aren't carry handles, especially a quality one, a better iron sight than most out there?

They are cast and casting oversees is so much cheaper. We have major EPA restrictions here so the fees get passed onto the consumer

The forged US made ones are about $100 or so. The next best alternative and don't ban me; the UTG Match Grade #950. About $40 bucks. I have tried most of the cheap ones and this one is worth you money. I have it an all 3 of personal ARs. Works like a champ and once its on you can't tell the difference.

The sight set alone is worth more than 100 dollars, it sounds cheap to me. The AR15 A2 has really nice sights.

                  just get this

its a great fixed rear sight for only $57, and lighter and allows you to use an optic.

Looks ideal for a woodland urban sniper set up.

I was issued an M16 A4 in Army BCT so the carry handle set up is near and dear to me. I have them on a couple of rifles. Having rear elevation options is great, and usually not present in BUIS set ups.

true, but then you can just get a front sight tool for like $4

Here is where I got one. They are not very quick on the shipping as they make PSA look fast. The good thing is they don't charge your credit card until they ship.

Front site tool is for getting zeroed in. The A2 adjustments are for.... Just that, adjusting for range and wind. At least that is what I was taught.
