    "Gee....they didn't rip-off DDLES/Quarter Circle 10 much ."
The truth then is, I guess, about 99% of the AR market has "ripped off" Colt

I like seeing competition in the marketplace. Always benefits us, the consumers.

For around $500 I'd be in for one too.

This just needs a bullet button to be CA compliant?

Extar has always been CA friendly.

If this is like their .556 it will be easy to take down and clean.

Colt started with uzi/Colt stick mags in 80's.
Then the patent expired on the design of the colt lower...
You see RRA use SMG mags and Olympic arms created both SMG and glock lowers.

            THEN...
DDLES/QC10 created their lowers for glock mags using proprietary components for bolt hold open, some time before before Lone Wolf built their glock lower.
And it looks to me that like EXTAR and New Frontier are both using those same designs.
Like what was pointed out, they all share a pretty common history, with Colt being the 1st for SMG mags, and it would seem OLY is the 1st with the Glock that I could find info on.

Wouldn't it technically be Armalite? But you're right. That's like complaining about the 1911 design being ripped off from John Moses Browning, or the AR15 being ripped off from Eugene Stoner. If it's a good design, it WILL be copied.

The Chinese invented Gunpowder. So I guess all US firearm manufacturers have ripped off the Chinese? There is also a big difference between similar iterations and "copies"

NATEWA: I haven't heard or seen anything more since the initial "teaser" on their Facebook page. I for one hope it comes to fruition soon.
