ALG AK

Lucked out and managed to pick up an ALG AK trigger yesterday.
This thing feels very nice, almost identical to the CMC 3.5 single stage flat bow in my SPR.
WELL worth the $60 I paid.
Will update with shooting impressions when I make it to the range.

Do they have trigger slap in saigas?

BTW jwhuey your zhukov setup is pretty much my fav floating around the internets. Some rifles with it look so weird. Yours is nice tho.

I just put a RD/AR stock adaptor on it today. I'm on the fence about whether I like the look. It does feel nice ergonomically though. Better cheekweld than the KVAR stock.

I'd kinda like to convert my Saiga 12 and put one in. I'd get one for my Saiga 308 if I could do so without converting, but want to stay featureless.

Where did you pick this up at? I was on another thread where a guy had one but ALG doesn't even have information on their website about it. How is it working for you.

I want one now. Been waiting and watching. I believe they initially said April so it wasnt too far off. Will have to get one for my 47. Ill wait to see what the trigger is like in my SGL 31 when i get it before buying a 2nd. Now if ALG could only make a 60$ FN scar trigger lol.

SGL 31 will have a long take up and heavy break. ALG will have no take up and super light break. I would rather have the factory trigger meant for the russian rifles for combat shooting. I have all 3 to compare. ALG is the closest to making the action work smoothly (no hang up on the hammer, compared to the factory trigger sets and hammers.

This sounds a like it may be a little too light for my liking.
I don't do precision or game gun type shooting with any of my AKs. But for the price I may just check it out anyways.



Plus this sounds perfect for bump firing and wasting as much cheap ammo as possible.

I prefer collapsible stocks for shooting but something about the photogenic balance of the fixed stock is gone. Tough call for u lol.
