Pics of my finished 80% 308

Well Here is the finished product. Nothing fancy, Just the basics.

    Factory DPMS upper.
    Factory DPMS BCG
Rainer Arms 20 inch 11 twist barrel.
    JP brake
Wilson combat low profile adjustable gas block
    15 inch free float tube.
    Standard A2 butt stock.

I borrowed the Vortex viper 6.5-20x44 from my RRA predator pursuit for the pic so I still need optics. I'm leaning toward a Burris XTR II 4-20x50

Very nice OP...Ia few word of experience, lube the crap out of it before shooting it and don't stress on weird malfunctions until you get 100 or so rounds through it.
That said I love my LR308 build.

Is the gas block adjustable? I know Rainier gets their barrels from Black Hole Weaponry, and while they are exceptionally accurate, mine was over gassed and it seems a lot of people have over gassing issues with their .308 barrels. Just a heads up.

Yes the gas block is a wilson combat adjustable. They are supposed to ship turned wide open for full gas flow. I don't think mine was because it was really soft shooting. The brass ejects at 4 O'clock instead of 3 O'clock so I still need to fine tune it. I won't do that until after I do load development. I got it on paper with factory ammo.

Thanks for the advise. I'm that weird soul who runs AR's wet. So far I've been lucky. Nothing seems out of place. All I have left to do is tweak the gas block after I settle on a load recipe.
