Simple Miad Grip question

I know its probably a dumb question but ive seen the two tone Miad Grips on various Ak's. I am wondering how do they get the two tone look on the grip, i know the grips come in different colors, but how do they get with OD green and black. Can you buy the different color backstraps seperately?? Also are they using the ar to ak grip adapter? Im just curious becus i saw an ak that had a od green/black grip and looks really cool.
