Thanks thighslapper. Checked it out. some good stuff there, but those are hobbyists guns. I'm looking for actual weapons used in the field with all the peculiarities and modifications they might do. everytime I see a picture of an SF guy there's something different about the rifles. trying to find more of those

Who knows. This kind of thing has been going on for years. We recently were told we need to start cycling out all of our snap on tools and trading them in for Matco because they are more reliable... Right... In 5 years I have yet to break anything but a screwdriver or the handle on a hammer, and I've really abused some of the told we use.

Here is the reason for that. Got to make those sponsorship dollars up somehow.
