One step closer

Well, I am one step closer to my AR. Just bought a complete CAR stock off a member of AR15.com. Now, all i need is to scrape the pennies together for my upper.

So far I have:

Spikes Lower
DPMS LPK
Bullet Button
10/30 Pmag
2 - 10 round C-products mags
4 position CAR Stock - coming soon.

Have not decided on the upper configuration I want yet. Thinking some flavor of flat top with a 20" barrel for varmints.

I would love to get a Larue, but I've got to be a little realistic on the price. I have been looking at Spikes and Charles Daly.

Hmmmmm I looked at a LaRue upper but I opted for the Noveske 16" Recce Low Pro. I just got it before the SHTF! What are you looking to spend?

Waiting is good now because with the buying frenzy about everything is bought up and prices are rising at an alarming rate. If you looking to save some $$ I have heard that the Stag 2HT is a good deal at between $650 to $700. I have not heard much negative and everyone I know that has one really likes them, but There are many choices out there so good luck in your pick!

I like my Spikes lower, so I am leaning more towards using their upper. And the cost is reasonable, around $650 for a 16". Would have to call Angela and see if they can do a 20".

The Charles Daly uppers are right about $700. I just haven't heard anything about them. I do know that they have a pretty fair autoloader shotgun.
