Converted to Featureless - never going back!

I don't know why I waited so long. I actually have six functional rifles now.

    1. Removed A2 flash suppressor.

Put on a thread protector for $11. My biggest concern was muzzleflash at night if I ever had to use it for real. I did some night tests with PMC Bronze, Wolf Gold, and AE223 (A2 vs bare muzzle).

A2 - flash the size of a 50 cent piece
Bare muzzle - flash the size of a elongated baseball

Not that big of a deal.

    2. Installed Solar Tactical grip wrap and left handed safety. Total cost $50.

I also put skateboard tape on the grip wrap. As retarded as the pistol grip law is, the grip is not that bad. I can perform just as good as I can with a regular pistol grip.

Not that big of a deal.

    3. Pinned my Magpul CTR stock.

All it took was a paperclip in the right place. You can't move the stock and you can't remove the clip without tools.

Not that big of a deal.

Kalifornia can kiss my b*tt. My rifles are functional now. And, they comply with your commie retarded laws.

Amen! Featureless is so much better, even though it looks dorky. Function over form any day.

No fair poking the caged lion... it could happen to you in the 'burgh!

It still beats fumbling with a mag lock. Good job, OP!
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Yep...I joined the featureless bandwagon not too long ago. I still chuckle when I press the button and my pre ban standard cap mag falls out and I insert another. It just feels so American!

From the viewpoint of an instructor, featureless is better than nanny-buttoned. In my opinion, the button actually causes some safety issues. On the other hand giving up a flash hider, bayonet lug, or pistol grip is pretty minimal -- out of those the one I would miss the most is the bayonet lug, seriously.

It'd be nice if our would-be betters respected the 2A in this state, but in the meantime we keep exercising our rights as best we can.

Personally I have an RAW, so... different brand of infringement. On the bright side, we know where the front line of Liberty is today, and we know how much ground remains to be retaken. Do what you can with what you've got.

Armaments Chapter One, verses nine through twenty-seven:
And Saint Attila raised the featureless AR15 up on high
saying, "Oh Lord, Bless us this featureless AR15, and with it
smash our enemies to tiny bits." And the Lord did grin, and the
people did feast upon the lambs, and stoats, and orangutans, and
                        breakfast cereals, and lima bean-
                        Skip a bit, brother.
And then the Lord spake, saying: "First, shalt thou take
out the bullet button. Then shalt thou count to three. No more, no less.
*Three* shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the
counting shall be three. *Four* shalt thou not count, and neither
count thou two, excepting that thou then goest on to three. Five is
RIGHT OUT. Once the number three, being the third number be reached,
then shootest thou thy featureless AR15 towards thy foe, who, being
naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.
                        Amen.

YEah definetley wayyy better to have a featureless than neutered. I have done this to my AK and i will never go back. i want to turn my Sig Sauer swat patrol into a featureless and that will be my next project. CANT WAIT!

its really does not feel any different than holding your standard hunting rifle or pistol grip less rifle. atleast to me anyway.
