6.8 headspace help - SF Bay Area

I'm just about finished with a 6.8 build, last part being delivered tomorrow. I'm asking if anyone in the Bay Area might have 6.8 headspace gauges and could help me out with checking my build? I'm willing to travel some if anyone has the headspace gauges.

    Thanks in advance.

What kind of rifle? If it's an ar should have been done when the barrel extension was installed. Did you turn the barrel yourself?

It's an AR and it's my first build. From what I have read it's necessary to check headspace when you build a rifle...isn't it?

You might try the regional forum to ask about the gauges.

Also, read up on barrel extensions, w210838 is asking a valid question.

It is prudent to check headspace on all new builds or anytime a bolt or barrel are swapped out.
