    Gun Blue Book?

You know for cars there is a published book that shows the resale value (wholesale & retail) of a used car based on mileage, options & condition. It's called the Kelly Blue Book.

Is there such a thing in the gun world? and if so, how can I get a hold of one.

      Blue Book of Gun Values.

Yep...Keep in mind the values given are for unaltered guns (not refinished, reblued or mucked with) read the first pages in the book.

use it as a reference guide...real world prices may differ

I'm not referring to flint lock, vintage civil war wheel guns, or old western guns. I'm refereeing to more modern guns. guns that are still in production. Also, I notice that the price of guns kind of changes from state to state. The book your refereeing to bluebook looks like it has only one region. Are the prices reflective of our market? Probably not the best, but this could atleast give you a estimate...

Go to a dealer who does consignments and talk to them about a realistic value. Whether you sell if through them or not is your choice but those guys really have a feel for the market at any given time.

I'm not sure if its against forum rules to make a "how much is my gunworth" thread, but if it isnt you could give it a try

Most of the prices in the blue book of gun values are a little more realistic when selling privately.....like cg, but trade ins are like trading in your car lol
