Holy kamoly. It looks like somebody dropped some bombs up there or something.

Wonderful to see that the range is still there!

Yeah, the drive up there is a bit spooky. Amazing that the fire was mostly contained to one side of the road. And the last mile up to the lot has a "ground zero" look.

Wait 'till it rains hard. There are a lot of mud slide in the near future for that area.

Wow, what a difference some vegetation makes...or lack thereof in this case.

so there should be no reason why you cant shoot magnetic ammo now that there is nothing to burn.

Yeah, it does kinda seem like we should have the ammo restrictions removed at least until the end of Spring.

WAS THIS FIRE STARTED BY SHOOTERS?
All the news reports referenced the range as the starting point of the fire, but nothing more. I thought it started in the early morning hours.

BTW Range owner (and former national Champion pistol Silhouette shooter) Ron Cottriel was out there fighting the fire in their tractor. Way to go, Ron! If the fire had hit the reloading store and then powder supplies, who knows WHAT would have happened.
