Marlin 336 Short Rifle .30-30 Win.

Here's one I just finished today. It is a 1958 Marlin 336 in .30-30.
This was the first year of the Micro Groove Rifling. I bought this gun around 2001 as a project and I had a lot of time invested in getting the Fore End and Buttstock to match. 20 years worth,,, Finally beat it !!!.

I sent it to Vang Comp to Cera-Kote the metal and just finished putting it back together today 10/22/2023.

A 30 AS with a short tube like that passed through my hands a decade ago. I made fifty bucks on the deal which was a killing at the time.PAX
