          Interesting.
What is its primary use, how much does it weigh, and what are your plans for sighting, etc.
I like the grain on that stock!

Express sights are being installed this week. Weight is about 12 lbs. Primary use is any game in the world, basically. We are considering necking down the cartridge for very long distances...

Is this another answer for a question never asked?

All questions should be asked. Otherwise there would be no inventions.

After a little web surfing, I see.
A proprietary cartridge that is extremely expensive is going to be a huge hurdle. Unless a major ammunition manufacturer steps up to offer components or complete cartridges, I see it becoming a footnote of obscurity. While the ballistics look very promising, its needs major backing. I applaud the intent, and hope they thrive, but I also am reminded of the last "Short Magnum" craze that fizzled.

That’s cool and all but if I wanted a heavy hitting AR 10 I’d probably built it 338 federal
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

No SAAMI specs. Not submitted. But at Range Day in Boulder City before SHOT, we had multiple people hitting the 1000 yard target, with a 390 grain jacketed lead projectile from Hawk Precision Bullets made to our spec, with the AR-10 platform and also with the 475 Safari bolt action. The Field & Stream guy did it, and a few others. Michael Bane did it, only 4 (maybe 5) dots down using our 1-8x scope.

Michael Bane catches up with Merrisa Bishop at SHOT Show about their Marlin project in .458 SOCOM and a cartridge called .475 Bishop Short Magnum.

Now that it has been over a year since I saw the first mention of this, what progress has been made in that time?
