    Ruger M77 Mark II Rings?

Does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive pair of 30mm medium scope rings? I've found a few, but all of them are $50+ for the pair. The M77 is chambered in .223, so I don't need anything fancy.

That is the going price. If you want to play you have to pay.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I think you need to get them directly from Ruger now. Some of the local and online places use to have them, but when I checked for a friend a few months ago it seemed no one carried them anymore.

That's what I figured. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Here's to hoping they don't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for the help.

It looks like they are 40 bucks each X2.

I'd probably be better off using a 1" scope at that point. $80 a pair seems pricey.

So you would give up the extra light and elevation travel of a 30mm tube to save $40 or so?

Sorry doesn't make sense to me. Yeah rings can be pricey, but they are the one thing holding your scope to your rifle.

Yes, I will give them up temporarily if it means keeping food on the table and paying my bills on time.

If $40 makes the difference for you whether you can keep food on the table and pay bills on time, shooting is too expensive of a hobby for you.

Emphasis on the "temporarily." Thanks for the personal advice gentleman. I truly appreciate it.
