I have an old 110 made before accu trigger. Its trigger is adjustable and is excellent. It is a tack driver too

What he means is that if he shoots it all day long, he can probably show you one 3 shot group that happens to be 1/2moa.

Who cares about groups as long as you can put your cold bore shot into a Penny at 100 yards.

I got a lot more input that I would have expected. I guess ill just stick with my howa and move up from there. Now ill just have to find a good trainer. Any suggestions for a trainer in orange county or surrounding areas?

I hit a 1/4" diamond at 200m with my coldbore shot a few years ago.
I don't think I could repeat that though.

The 1/4" diamond was in the middle of a 2" shoot-n-see type target that we were using for the coldbore shot.

Along with the CAPRC clinics, there are long range and midrange clinics at smgunclub.org. There are also several monthly matches in the LA metro area that are really more practice than matches. Some of these are position matches, some are midrange prone matches. The monthly position match at ASR starts at 8am, is over by 10am and then it's open practice until noon.

My Remmies are shooting tight groups like .5 moa at 100 yards. I'm experimenting with the cold clean bore shot. I'll have to get a better torque wrench that's for sure. That's a different topic - I hope someone will start one.

OP- just get a Remmy TAC in .223 with a 1/9 twist. A savage will work too. The Mossberg sure is priced nicely, but I don't have any experience with it except holding a MVP in a LGS.

these 2 were shot back to back without letting the rifle cool down. These are not the best groups shot with this rifle, best 5 shot I have shot with it so far was around .4" ctc @ 100 yds.
