    AICS Spigot / Harris bipod

I have an ACIS/Rem 700. I have been looking for a spigot adapter for my Harris bipod, does anyone know what brand is the one seen in the picture below. Looking for this or something similar.

Your rifle appears to have an AI action. Is that a clone?

For Harris, why not just stick with the bipod loop? Most of the spigot friendly bipods are from Atlas. You can fit in a BT28 under mount, then you have the ability to mount any bipod that adapts to a picatinny rail.

          Looks like a:
Big Dog Steel Picatinny spigot adapter $160
with a ADM picatinny to bipod stud adapter $70
attached to the Harris bipod. $100

          OR

You could just attach the Harris bipod to the stud on the AI chassis, like 99.995% of everyone does.

          OR

Get a Atlas bipod with AI spigot $280

Get the #51 battle pack, comes with adapter, bipod, 3 different sets of feet, and is a better bipod than a Harris.
It's no Atlas or GG&G but it's honestly pretty nice.

Heh, 160 for an adapter that looks cobbled ?
Pfft, big dog is a good name for that company.

While I do not like my VersaPod, I got the type that clamps to a picatinny rail. That one looks better. I will say that I think Harris bipods are one of the most overrated products going. People get them because they are cheap. I will say that they are a decent buy for sub-$100, but there are usually many better solutions available. Of course, it's a highly preferential matter.

Yeah that's way too pricey. I currently have an AICS with the Harris mounted the standard way. Its when shooting in a non-prone position using the sling that having the bipod in that position gets real uncomfortable. Was hoping to find an inexpensive way to move the bipod further forward, so that I could get a clean grip on the forend.

Right now I'm trying out a different option, mounting the sling a bit further back. Got some Viperskins with rails and used a magpul rail sling attachment.

I have no idea if this makes any sense.

I would recommend getting an Atlas with the AI spigot and sell the Harris (there worth $60-70).

The cheapest is the get a thicker shooting glove and live with it being butted up against the bipod.

One thing about moving the bipod out that far forward; it is difficult to adjust the bipod tension without breaking position, unless you have ape-hanger arms.
