Can you identify this bolt action rifle.

A buddy of mine ask to to help him identify this rifle and I'm lost. You help is much appreciated.
The only markings on rifle other than serial # is the RA on stock. I'm adding more pictures.

Yes still there and no import markings, stock receiver matching #s. you scope and mount looks ariginal.

Chrysanthemum is still on looks good and sharp.

If it does in fact have a MUM it is an [Arisaka type 1] which was made by Italy for the Japanese Imperial Army. It is 6.5 but a different 6.5 than the 6.5 Carcano.
