Marlin 336 Big Loop conversion options?

Well I own a not too old 336W and went and fondled a 336 big loop yesterday and now I want one. Anyone successfully ordered, installed, and function checked a big loop for the conversion?

I have seen some aftermarket ones but they usually say gunsmithing required, I am hoping the Marlin drops right in.

    Thanks in advance,

No personal experience, but this guy is well regarded over on the Marlin Owner forum.

I have a 336 in .35 Rem and will be having the mule loop conversion done.

I put easily put one on my 1894c in .357 mag. I got it from Wild West guns. It's freakin awsome. I'll post a picture tonight when i get home. You should check out their website.

Yeah, get that one from Brownells. It says to use a gunsmith, but only if you're retarded. Sorry to all you all gunsmiths.

Having a "big loop" I can tell you I dig the standard much more! Past the cool factor, I bust my knuckles when I slap the lever. Yes, the same can be said for the standard, but the extra length of travel with the big loop seems to intensify it. My .02

I swapped in a Marlin SBL/GBL into an 1895 I used to have. I quickly swapped back to the normal lever.
