Fix to make free floating barrel actually float

There is nothing on a gun that can be improved with a Dremel. Hand tools files, stones, sandpaper, etc.

If your bolt handle is closing onto your stock like it does on most 700 PSS and you Dremel the plastic away they usually shoot much better in my experience.
Likewise the wood stocks warp from moisture and will contact the barrel ruining accuracy.Sanding more clearance has worked for many years.

My 1978 Rem 700 30-06 used to shoot under 1 MOA but after retiring it for 30 years it couldn't hold 3 to 4 MOA. The wood stock had warped and was putting to much pressure on the barrel. Once the stock was sanded out as described above, and bedded at the recoil lug and tang it shot under 1 MOA with hand loads.

I when I glass beded mine I put a card board shim under the barrel about the thickness of a shoe box . when the glass dries it gives you the right amount of clearance when you take the shim out. First thing I did to my ADL 30 years ago.
